Bridie Jackson is a composer, performer and community musician, based in the North East of England.

As a composer, she creates original music independently and with her duo, Staithe, blending voice, classical guitar, viola, piano, and electronic elements to craft immersive soundscapes and soundtracks.​Her commissioned work spans theatre, dance, film, and sound installations, with recent collaborators including TeesDance, Create North, and Meta 4 Dance.

As a community musician, Bridie is a specialist in early years music, currently working as an Associate Artist with Theatre Hullaballoo, a pioneering organisation that makes, tours & promotes theatre for young audiences.
 

 She also leads community choirs, music projects and songwriting workshops for all ages. Amongst others, she has recently collaborated with Elysium Theatre Company, We Make Culture, and Little Cog at Arc Stockton.
